How to build an office KPI dashboard on a TV screen
Turn any office TV into a live metrics dashboard showing revenue, support tickets, sprint progress, and more.
A TV on the wall showing live metrics keeps the team aligned without meetings. Revenue this month, open support tickets, deployment count, NPS score — whatever matters to your team, on a screen everyone can see.
Setting it up
Create a new screen with the Stats / Metrics template. Add your key metrics — each one gets a label and a value. Four metrics fit perfectly in a 2x2 grid. Two metrics fill the screen with large, readable numbers.
Choosing the right metrics
Pick 2-4 numbers that the team can influence. Revenue is good. Server uptime is good. "Total users ever" is less useful because it doesn't change day-to-day. The best dashboard metrics make people think "I can move that number today."
Keeping it updated
For now, update the numbers manually when they change — open the editor, type the new values, save. The screen updates instantly. In a future version, you'll be able to connect a spreadsheet or API for automatic updates.
Theme and readability
Use the Dark theme for office dashboards. Large white numbers on a dark background are readable from across the room. The accent color highlights the most important metric.
Where to mount it
Common areas work best — near the coffee machine, in the main hallway, or facing the team's desks. The point is passive visibility: people glance at it throughout the day without needing to open a tool or attend a standup.
